Coronation Street spoiler’s follow.
Coronation Street has dropped a new trailer for a dramatic week of episodes airing later this month.
As you’d expect, the trailer focuses on the soap’s current biggest storyline: Imran Habeeb versus Abi Webster.
Imran recently gained custody of their son Alfie (who was conceived during a one-night stand) after faking a witness to convince the court that Abi was using drugs again – and she’s sworn revenge.

The trailer features a haunting effect as one of the duo falls to the ground and it cuts to the other one rising, while the background constantly changes to add more characters — including Toyah, Adam, Kevin and Debbie — to show that their drama is dragging everyone down with them.
Will Toyah see through Imran’s lies, and will Kevin trust Abi and reconcile with her? Will Abi get her son back, or will Imran go to even further extremes? Why is everyone fighting the police in the trailer? We have SO many questions.

John Whiston, MD of Continuing Drama & Head of ITV in the North, said of the upcoming episodes: “The pigeons really do come home to roost for some of corrie‘s best loved characters in this fantastic week of edge of your seat drama.
“Secrets unravel, truths hurt and lives well and truly turn upside down as the lengths Imran went to to take baby Alfie away from Abi are revealed. Whether your sympathies are with Abi, with Toyah or with Imran, this is not a week to be missed.”
The trailer will premiere on TV during the Emmerdale ad break tonight (May 16).
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
